It seems that Chinese manufacturers are increasingly obsessed with bezelless display. We have already seen the mainstream manufacturers like ZTE, LeTV and even OPPO seems to be working on such a device.
However, when the truth was brought into daylight that LeTV’s One Pro flagship isn’t really bezelless, everyone seems to be fooled and disappointed.
The fever with bezelless smartphone does prove one thing. No matter how delicately a phone is designed, picky consumers can also find something to complain about, be it a far from perfect display or an unsightly cover.
Handsets like iphone or HTC are normally seen with insulation strips cut on their covers to enhance signals, which is a compromise when the phone comes with metal frame and cover at the same time.
Oddly, this is not what DOOGEE did to their new phone Valencia2 Y100 pro. No cuts or seam can be found on the back. Rumor has it that it’s made of some special material with sort of unprecedented technic to balance the signal and nice appearance. Others, on the other hand, believes DOOGEE makes a stupid choice to abondon practicality for aesthetic value.
Tons of guesses keep poping up. The answer will remain a mystery unless DOOGEE unveil more specs. We’ll just wait and see.
