Valencia2 Y100 Pro is available in two colors

The Valencia2 Y100 Pro simply looks gorgeous under the Musashi paint. But what about its color? Will it be chrome or gold like iphone 5S ? Neither. The Y100 Pro has 2 color options namely gray and silver, which is also how HTC One M9 is painted.

Of course, this device do come with some pretty impressive specs to be honest. If you’re a shutterbug, then the Valencia2 Y100 Pro is definitely for you as it comes with an incredible SONY 13MP rear camera with improved night mode shooting which is the same resolution as the nubia Z7.

Other key specs that come along with the handset include a 5.0″HD display, MT6735 chipset, 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage, microSD slot, 2,200mAh BAK battery as well as new customized DOOGEE OS based on Android 5.0 Lollipop.

The suspense is over: Valencia2 Y100 Pro backcover revealed

According to the previous article, Valencia2 Y100 Pro is said to be made of “some special material”, which keeps us in a state of suspense. Now the suspense is over and it’s time to unveil the answer.

There is actually no such “special material” as used in the new Valencia2 Y100 Pro. The backcover is made of PC and coated with Japanese Musashi paint, which explains the metallic look and light weight. Because of that, there will be no worries for LOS（loss of signal）and insulation strips are totally unnecessary. So you see it’s as pretty as any strip-free plastic covers while with metallic luster on the surface.

It’s really a clever move for DOOGEE to combine plastic and metal when it comes to the choice of backcover material, especially in today’s market where metal seems to be the first choice for smartphone manufacturers and consumers.

A stupid choice for DOOGEE to come with seamless backcover?

It seems that Chinese manufacturers are increasingly obsessed with bezelless display. We have already seen the mainstream manufacturers like ZTE, LeTV and even OPPO seems to be working on such a device.

However, when the truth was brought into daylight that LeTV’s One Pro flagship isn’t really bezelless, everyone seems to be fooled and disappointed.
The fever with bezelless smartphone does prove one thing. No matter how delicately a phone is designed, picky consumers can also find something to complain about, be it a far from perfect display or an unsightly cover.

Handsets like iphone or HTC are normally seen with insulation strips cut on their covers to enhance signals, which is a compromise when the phone comes with metal frame and cover at the same time.

Oddly, this is not what DOOGEE did to their new phone Valencia2 Y100 pro. No cuts or seam can be found on the back. Rumor has it that it’s made of some special material with sort of unprecedented technic to balance the signal and nice appearance. Others, on the other hand, believes DOOGEE makes a stupid choice to abondon practicality for aesthetic value.

En esta era digital en la que vivimos, el miedo a perderse lo que esta pasando por no haber visto una notificación es un hecho real que pone nerviosos a miles de usuarios de telefonía móvil por todo el planeta. Gracias al nuevo Y-100, eso es tema del pasado, nunca más sentirás la ansiedad de no saber si tienes una notificación pendiente.

Uno de los puntos fuertes de nuestro Y-100 son las tres luces de notificación LED que vienen en el lateral del teléfono. Como tres pajaritos listos para avisarte cuanto haya algo importante como una llamada perdida, un mensaje o email no leído, etc.. Se acabó el tener que mirar constantemente la pantalla del teléfono.

Pero si crees que tres LEDs de notificaciones no son lo suficientemente impresionantes, es porque aun no te hemos contado lo mejor, son personalizables. Se pueden designar independientemente diferentes aplicaciones para que usen cada una de los LEDs.

Los LEDs de notificaciones tienes muchas ventajas sobre los tonos tradicionales, una de ellas es que son permanentes en el tiempo, así que si estas en sitio ruidoso y no oíste el tono, siempre puedes de un vistazo la lateral de tu teléfono comprobar si te estás perdiendo algo.

Las notificaciones no son lo único para lo que sirven los 3 LED. ¿Quieres usarlos para saber cuánto se ha cargado tu teléfono? Ya hemos pensado en ello.

Cuando el Valencia 2 se esta cargando, los 3 LED´s funcionan como indicadores del nivel de carga, a menos del 50% se enciende la primera luz, entre el 50% y el 95% se enciende la segunda, a más del 95% se enciende la última.

No hay que ser un experto en móviles para saber que el encender todo el rato la pantalla para comprobar si hay notificaciones tiene un efecto muy claro sobre la batería, se gasta mas rapido. Sin embargo los 3 LED´s tienen un consumo mucho inferior al de la pantalla, permitiendo así estar informado y al mismo tiempo ahorra batería.
